What does AHA mean?
AHA means American Heart Association. Our American Heart Association Heartsaver, BLS and blended classes display the official Aligned Training Site seal.
Should I choose Heartsaver or BLS?
Choose American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR, AED & First Aid for common workplace, school, childcare, fitness and community requirements. Healthcare professionals, first responders and clinical students commonly need AHA BLS Provider. If you are unsure, confirm the exact course name with your employer or school.
What is the difference between Initial BLS and BLS Renewal?
Initial BLS is appropriate for first-time students, expired certifications or anyone specifically required to complete the initial course. BLS Renewal is for eligible students who currently hold BLS Provider certification.
Can I take Initial BLS if I qualify for BLS Renewal?
Yes. If you are eligible for renewal, you may take either Initial BLS or BLS Renewal. Choose an Initial BLS class whenever its date or time works better for your schedule.
How much do scheduled classes cost?
American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR, AED & First Aid is $60. AHA BLS Provider Initial and Renewal classes are $50.
How does blended-learning pricing work?
Each HeartCode BLS or Heartsaver Blended course and city has one shared assessment calendar. Registration starts at $50 for the in-person skills assessment. If you need LP Health Directions to provide the matching American Heart Association online modules, add them for $50 during booking, making the total $100. If you already completed the approved matching modules, leave the add-on at zero. Complete the modules before your appointment and bring your completion certificate.
Is the Spanish CPR class an AHA course?
No. The Phoenix Spanish CPR, AED & First Aid class is taught completely in Spanish, provides LP Health Directions certification accepted by the Arizona Department of Health and does not issue an American Heart Association eCard.

Where are classes held?
Our Phoenix training location is at 29 W Thomas Rd #201, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Our Tucson training location is at 5815 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85712.
How do I find an available date?
Choose your exact class and training location, then use the monthly calendar to select a date marked with availability. The next step shows the available Arizona start times for that class only.
When can I cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class or assessment. If you do not attend or make the request on time, your payment is not refunded or transferred, and you must pay again to book another class.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that lets you practice CPR skills on floor-level manikins. Arrive with enough time to locate the training room and check in.
How long is my AHA eCard valid?
AHA Heartsaver and BLS Provider eCards are valid for two years after successful course completion.
Training for organizations.
Do you train groups at their location?
Yes. We provide on-site training for Arizona workplaces, schools, healthcare teams and organizations. Group pricing and scheduling depend on the course, location and number of students.
Can you help with AED equipment and readiness?
Yes. LP Health Directions can connect AED selection, model-matched accessories and ongoing program support with staff training.
