Match the course name to your requirement.

“CPR certification” can mean different courses. Check the exact wording from your employer, school, licensing organization or clinical program before registering.

Choose Heartsaver for many non-clinical rolesTeachers, childcare professionals, coaches, fitness staff, workplace responders and community members commonly need CPR, AED and First Aid. The scheduled AHA Heartsaver class is $60.
Choose BLS Provider when the requirement says BLSNurses, healthcare students, medical and dental teams, EMTs and other clinical roles are often assigned provider-level BLS. Initial and Renewal classes are separate and both cost $50.
Choose blended learning when flexibility fits betterHeartCode is the BLS blended course; Heartsaver Blended Learning is the CPR, AED and First Aid course. Each course and city uses one shared assessment calendar. The assessment is $50, and the optional module add-on is $50.
Choose Group Training for an organizationLP Health Directions can train a workplace, school or other group on site. LP Health Directions certification is standard for most group programs; discuss any organization-specific credential requirement before scheduling.

Initial, Renewal or blended?

Initial BLS is the appropriate starting point for first-time students, expired credentials or anyone specifically assigned the Initial course. BLS Renewal is for eligible students who currently hold the required certification. An eligible renewal student may take Initial BLS instead when that schedule works better.

Blended learning separates the course modules from the in-person skills assessment. HeartCode names the BLS option; Heartsaver Blended Learning names the CPR, AED and First Aid option. Book the shared skills assessment for $50. Add the matching modules for $50 if you need them, making the total $100. Complete the modules before your appointment and bring your completion certificate.

What to check before you register.

Confirm the course name, city and class format. Scheduled classes are available in Phoenix and Tucson, and each AHA option is marked with the standalone AHA Aligned Training Site seal. Review prerequisites before paying, use a name and email address you can access for your electronic record, and plan to arrive with enough time to locate the training room.
